anyone been to a major competition?

if so - tell all - what did you think? Is it worth the high ticket price? Did you get to see amazing things?

    I haven't been to one yet, and I really really want to. I had high hopes of maybe attending the Four Continents Championship, since it's going to be in Colorado Springs this year, but it doesn't look the money will be there in time.
